LIFE
TEEN is...
a
comprehensive youth ministry program with a strong focus on the Eucharist.
Starting with a weekly LIFE TEEN Mass, high school teens are placed in an
environment where they have the opportunity to experience fully the
greatest gift we have as the Church. This liturgy provides the cultural connection
for the teens - allowing them to take ownership of their faith.
LIFE
TEEN is... SPIRITUAL
LIFE TEEN helps teens develop individual relationships with God
as well as gives them the best spiritual experience of all.., the
Mass. Providing teens and their parents with a liturgy geared toward their
spiritual needs is the heart of the LIFE TEEN Program.
LIFE TEEN is... EDUCATIONAL
Teens need to hear the truth!
Strictly in line with the theology of the Roman Catholic Church, the LIFE
TEEN Program teaches through creative Bible studies, discussions and
personal experience.
LIFE
TEEN is... EMOTIONAL
The atmosphere is open and loving! LIFE TEEN provides an atmosphere where
teens can express their feelings (everything from loneliness, pain, anger,
and sorrow to joy) and experience the unconditional love of Christ.
LIFE TEEN is ... SOCIAL
Building community is another important part of this teen ministry. The
LIFE TEEN Program helps teens become part of a community where everyone is
invited to experience the fullness of LIFE through fun and exciting
activities.
"Life
Teen to me is my family, and my revival. It brings out the faith that I
have deep down inside my heart. It's a way of feeling God at such a higher
level. It's my shovel to dig deeper everyday."

"Life-Teen is my home
away from home. I love that it's an escape from the rush of the world, but
that it's still a place where I can be with my Christian family. At
Life-Teen, we're all bound together by the same Dad, and that draws us
even closer to each other."

Walk into the Prince of Peace
Narthex any Sunday afternoon just prior to the LIFE Teen Mass and no doubt
you'll be engulfed by lively, upbeat contemporary music as the LIFE Teen
Band warms up and rehearses. Shortly before 6PM as teens grab the
pews at the front of the sanctuary and their families scramble for the
last remaining seats, the warm-up begins with the assembly. You'll
hear lots of loud singing and clapping as everyone joins in songs of
praise. Then, after a brief welcome, the celebration begins and for
the next hour or so, everyone joins in celebrating the Eucharist together
in joyful and prayerful songs that are geared for teens but liturgically
sound.
