The St. Paul's Rock Of Ages Band was founded in 1993 as a way to augment the worship services at their home church, St. Paul's UMC in Bay Head, New Jersey.  They now play at various venues around the NJ shore.

With the songwriting talents of Rich DeRick (acoustic guitar, vocals) and Tyler Sherman (electric & acoustic guitar, vocals), the band utilizes a wide variety of musical styles to deliver the Gospel message including Pop, Rock, Blues, Country, R&B, and Folk.

With a unique vocal blend at time reminiscent of the Beach Boys, the group seeks to touch hearts with the Good News through music.

Other band members include:

Tom Lewis (drums, vocals)

Joan Merrill-Sherman (piano, flute, vocals)

George Nicholas (bass guitar, vocals)

Their first CD release, Life In The Light Of The Son, contains 17 hook-laden songs sure to please believers and non-believers alike.
